Marble in vermont

Proctor Heritage Wall Unveiling

The Proctor Marble Heritage Wall honors the immigrants who came to Proctor, Vermont to harvest her rich resource of marble. Heritage walls will be placed in select locales engraved with both regional contributors and immigrants who fled Europe and brought resourcefulness, hope, commitment and talents that have contributed significantly to Vermont's famed independent spirit and ethnic make-up.

The unveiling took place on September 19, 2009. It was a beautiful day for the unveiling and we enjoyed meeting with all the families of the marble workers engraved on the heritage wall.
